The first day of summer is my birthday---this year it was 100 degrees here, so we spent the day at the beach. It was a perfect day and a very relaxing way to spend my birthday. I love the ocean.

A little off the subject of this post, but I was just noticing the pictures taken on the side. They are gorgeous! Then again, you have a beautiful family, so they had to turn out great. Who took them? We are taking family pics next month and need a good photographer!

Hi-I feel like I don't keep near enough in contact with you. We are doing good. How are you guys? Probably just as busy as us, four kids does that to you, right? Anyway, we are going to be in UT for Thanksgiving because Greg's mom has been diagnosed with liver and stomache cancer. We aren't sure of anything and didn't want to make the mistake of assuming she will be around forever. She had breast cancer a year ago and his dad had a kidney and heart transplant. My dad had a quadriple bypass. It's amazing how old I feel when our parents are starting to have so many health problems. Hope you guys are healthy and well!
